Case introduction

Heat Demand in Pakistan's Textile Industry
Pakistan is one of the world's key textile exporters, with the textile sector accounting for over 60% of its total export value. Processes such as dyeing, heat-setting, and drying require a stable and continuous steam supply. However, natural gas availability in Pakistan has long been inconsistent, with noticeable price fluctuations. This has pushed many textile factories to explore biomass fuel as a practical alternative. Agricultural residues such as cotton stalks and bagasse are widely available locally, making biomass boilers a cost-effective solution for industrial heat supply.

ZOZEN Boiler Export Solution
The unit delivered is a DZW10-1.25-SS three-drum, ash-free reciprocating grate biomass steam boiler with a rated capacity of 10 t/h, working pressure of 1.25 MPa, and thermal efficiency exceeding 86.7%. The reciprocating grate design supports a wide range of biomass fuels, including cotton stalks, wood chips, and rice husks. The furnace structure effectively addresses the common issues of ash accumulation and slagging in biomass combustion, reducing the frequency of shutdown cleaning and improving operational stability.

The boiler is equipped with an intelligent control system featuring a straightforward interface and comprehensive safety interlocks, enabling automated operation in facilities with limited technical staffing.

Delivery and Service
ZOZEN Boiler maintains a local agent in Pakistan to coordinate installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. The equipment was delivered on schedule as agreed in the contract. ZOZEN engineers provided remote support to the local team throughout the commissioning process, and the boiler was successfully brought into operation within the agreed timeframe.

Customer feedback—— AL-ABBAS FABRICS (PVT) LTD.

After the boiler was put into operation, steam supply remained stable with no production stoppages caused by steam interruptions. Compared to the previous boiler, monthly fuel costs dropped noticeably. The operating procedures also matched the capability of the factory's existing staff.
