Export to Pakistan: 10 t/h Reciprocating Grate Biomass Steam Boiler for Textile Plant in Karachi

Pakistan is one of the world's major textile exporting countries. Garments, cotton yarn and fabric are a core source of foreign exchange earnings. Karachi, as a major industrial city, is home to a large number of textile manufacturers supplying European and American markets.

In recent years, these factories have faced a shared challenge: unreliable natural gas supply, rising energy costs, and tightening green supply chain requirements from European and American buyers.

JB Industries, located in the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate in Karachi, began evaluating alternative heat sources under these circumstances and ultimately selected ZOZEN's reciprocating grate biomass steam boiler.

ZOZEN DZW Series: Reciprocating Grate Design

The reciprocating grate moves fuel progressively through the furnace, ensuring even and complete combustion, effectively preventing localized ash buildup from affecting output. ZOZEN's DZW series accepts a wide range of fuels — cotton stalks, bagasse, wood chips, biomass pellets and other local agricultural residues. Thermal efficiency reaches above 86.7%, with steam output covering 15–35 t/h.

The ZOZEN boiler is equipped with an intelligent control system for real-time parameter monitoring and comprehensive safety interlocks, reducing reliance on operator experience. A flue gas heat recovery system is also integrated to further improve thermal utilization.
