2. Significant variation in local coal properties, with volatility, ash, and moisture content differing between batches.
   The customer sought a boiler system with robust steam capacity, strong fuel adaptability, and low O&M burden to ensure peak-period output and economical daily operation.

ZOZEN Boiler’s Solution
The customer selected the ZOZEN SZL series 15 t/h coal-fired steam boiler. This series is a chain-grate water-tube boiler featuring a horizontal double-drum, longitudinal arrangement, and a furnace with closely spaced water-cooled wall tubes.

Solution Highlights

1. Broad fuel adaptability: The SZL series is suitable for bituminous coal, lean coal, and anthracite. The chain grate with independent air chambers enables zoned and adjustable air distribution for different coals, enhancing combustion stability.
2. More complete combustion: Independent air chambers allow refined organization of primary and secondary air. Combined with appropriate grate speed and fuel bed thickness control, the furnace provides favorable conditions for complete combustion, reducing unburned losses.
3. Steady thermal efficiency: Closely spaced water-cooled wall tubes increase radiative heat transfer area. Along with customized system configuration, boiler thermal efficiency can reach 81% or higher under design conditions, improving specific steam energy consumption.
4. Easy operation and maintenance: An advanced control system enhances automation of fuel feeding, ash and slag removal, helping operators get up to speed quickly and reducing routine inspection workload.
