55 Tph and 35 Tph Gas Steam Boilers for Central Heating Project

Project Overview

Zhejiang Hengxi Energy Co., Ltd., dedicated to the production and supply of electricity and thermal energy, embarked on an ambitious district heating polygeneration network project in Taizhou City. With a substantial investment of approximately 166.82 million RMB (around 23 million USD) and spanning over an area of 11,503 square meters, the project marked a significant step in the city’s energy infrastructure development.

Challenges and Solutions

In adherence to provincial regulations and Taizhou City’s energy usage balancing scheme, there was a decisive shift from the existing decentralized heating boilers to a centralized energy replacement strategy. To meet Hengxi Energy’s specific requirements, ZOZEN Boiler supplied several SZS series gas steam boilers with a total capacity of 200 steam tons. These boilers are expected to supply up to 403,300 tons of steam annually, consuming 37.3294 million cubic meters of natural gas per year.

Impact and Outcomes

Upon completion, the project is set to achieve remarkable energy savings by reducing coal consumption by 45,882.09 tons. This initiative will also contribute to a significant reduction in the annual comprehensive energy usage across the region by 1,321.74 tons of standard coal. This aligns with Taizhou City's objectives for the "14th Five-Year Plan" and its annual targets for energy conservation and emission reduction, positioning Zhejiang Hengxi Energy as a leader in sustainable energy practices.
