In 2010, a 2 t/h WNS series gas-fired steam boiler was installed at a pharmaceutical plant in Shanghai to provide steam for its production processes. Although the exterior design has changed, this 2 t/h WNS series gas-fired steam boiler remains in operation and continues to supply steam for the customer’s production needs.

Steam is commonly used in production processes, equipment cleaning, material handling, and auxiliary systems in production areas. Frequent boiler shutdowns may affect production arrangements and equipment operation.

In 2010, the pharmaceutical company selected a 2 t/h WNS series gas-fired steam boiler from ZOZEN according to its steam demand. The boiler adopts a horizontal fire-tube structure and is suitable for gaseous fuels such as natural gas. The WNS series covers capacities from 1 to 6 t/h, with a working pressure range of 1–1.6 MPa. The specific parameters are subject to the project’s technical documents and the boiler nameplate.

Its exterior reflects the early design of the product and differs from the current appearance of ZOZEN’s WNS series boilers. However, after years of service, the boiler body, burner, and control system continue to support the customer’s steam supply.
