Case introduction

Côte d'Ivoire possesses abundant forest resources and is one of the world's important wood processing and exporting countries. Recently, in a large plywood factory project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa, ZOZEN Boiler provided a valuable reference solution with a 6 t/h SZL series biomass steam boiler.

During the daily production of plywood, a large amount of offcuts such as bark, waste wood blocks, and sawdust are generated. These "industrial wastes" in conventional views are actually biomass loose materials with considerable heating value.

If these waste woods can be directly used as boiler fuel, it can not only effectively solve the problem of factory waste disposal but also significantly reduce steam production costs. Customized Grate System: According to the specific size and combustion characteristics of local wood waste in Côte d'Ivoire, ZOZEN rationally designed the air distribution structure and operating speed of the grate to ensure that loose materials can fully tumble and burn in the furnace, thereby improving the burnout rate of the fuel.
Scientific Furnace Space Design: The SZL series biomass steam boiler adopts a double-drum design, combined with rationally arranged independent air chambers, which effectively extends the residence time of high-temperature flue gas in the furnace. The thermal efficiency is maintained at over 86%, fully extracting the thermal energy generated by wood combustion.
