Export to Tanzania: ZOZEN Coal Steam Boiler and Thermal Oil Heater Applied in a Coffee Factory

Tanzania’s coffee industry is strongly export-oriented. Coffee processing requires a continuous supply of steam and a stable heat source. Considering the local fuel conditions, production scale and energy costs, ZOZEN Boiler supplied two coal-fired boilers for a coffee factory in Tanzania.

The SZL8 coal-fired steam boiler, with a rated capacity of 8 t/h, supplies steam for coffee cleaning, processing and plant heating. The YLW coal-fired thermal oil boiler, with a rated output of 1.6 million kcal/h, provides stable indirect heating for processes such as coffee roasting and drying.

The two coal-fired boilers use different heat transfer methods, allowing the coffee factory to allocate thermal energy according to the requirements of each production process. The SZL boiler has a thermal efficiency of up to 81% or higher. The YLW series coal-fired thermal oil boiler is suitable for continuous operation and can be equipped with a flue gas heat recovery system according to project requirements.

For industrial projects in Tanzania, fuel adaptability, convenient maintenance and responsive overseas service are important considerations. These services helped the coffee factory establish a stable thermal energy supply system.
