ZOZEN actively explores new quality management methods to improve the product quality

In order to ensure the quality improvement work, ZOZEN quality management committee actively explored new management models. Recently, the committee had formed and implemented the quality management system by combining 8D Problem Solving method with ZOZEN's actual operating conditions, which could effectively improve the quality risk prevention and control capacity and promote the high-quality development of the company.

ZOZEN had an innovative application of 8D Problem Solving method

The 8D Problem Solving method is a method for Ford Company to deal with problems. It mainly includes eight steps that are setting up a team to solve the problem, describing the problem, determining and implementing temporary anti-blocking measures, analyzing and verifying the root cause, determining and verifying permanent corrective measures, implementing permanent corrective measures, formulating preventive measures and drawing inferences, concluding experience and implementing incentives. This method aims to solve the problems timely and make continuous improvement for preventing the same problems.

ZOZEN vice chairman of quality management committee and manager of quality assurance department said that the committee had formulated the workflow and solutions suitable for ZOZEN via optimizing the content and sequence of eight steps in order to ensure the corrective and effective application of 8D Problem Solving method. After continuous improvement, many departments of ZOZEN could apply 8D Problem Solving method to solve problems in the boiler manufacturing process.

ZOZEN implemented new management methods

From finding to permanently solving the problems, ZOZEN had formed a complete closed processing loop. After correct description and classification of the problem, the quality manager assigns the "8D Problem Analysis Report" filled with the problem description to the corresponding project leader. Other professionals will deal with the problem timely, analyze the root cause, implement permanent measures and form written documents.

Through the implementation of management methods, ZOZEN can find and solve the problems such as unqualified observation holes on the back cover of the boiler before boilers leave the factory. Therefore, ZOZEN can truly produce boilers without defects to ensure the high quality and low cost of boiler products.
