ZOZEN Boiler Supports Building Materials Projects in Hubei with Steam and Thermal Oil Solutions

Introduction
In Wuhan, Hubei Province, Hubei Hanjia New Materials Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Yiqingsheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. required thermal energy equipment for autoclave curing and continuous production-line heating, respectively. Based on the production processes, fuel conditions and site requirements of the two companies, ZOZEN Boiler supplied an 8 t/h DZL series biomass steam boiler and a 7.2-million-kcal YWW series biomass thermal oil boiler. The two projects use different heat-transfer media and system configurations, demonstrating the importance of selecting boilers for the building materials industry according to specific production processes.

ZOZEN Boiler Provides Thermal Energy Support for the Building Materials Industry in Hubei

The production of autoclaved aerated concrete panels, blocks and other building materials has defined process requirements for thermal energy systems. Steam can be used for autoclave curing, drying and heating, while thermal oil is suitable for production processes requiring continuous and balanced heat supply.

8 t/h Biomass Steam Boiler Supports an Autoclave Curing Production Line
Hubei Hanjia New Materials Co., Ltd. invested RMB 60 million in a production line designed to manufacture 300,000 cubic meters of autoclaved aerated concrete panels annually. The project is also equipped with automated production facilities for manufacturing aerated concrete panels and blocks according to project requirements.

The production line requires a continuous steam supply and coordinated operation between the boiler system, autoclaves and automated equipment.

Based on the project’s production capacity, fuel conditions and site layout, ZOZEN Boiler supplied a DZL8-1.6/230-SS biomass steam boiler with a rated capacity of 8 t/h. The boiler adopts a three-drum water-tube structure. Its furnace space is designed according to the fuel characteristics and boiler capacity, providing suitable combustion space for biomass fuel.

During system configuration, ZOZEN Boiler considered the boiler body, auxiliary equipment and production-line steam requirements. This supports the connection between the boiler system and the autoclave curing process, providing the steam equipment required for aerated concrete panel production.

7.2-Million-kcal Thermal Oil Boiler Provides Continuous Heat for Building Materials Production
Wuhan Yiqingsheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. is a green building materials enterprise established by Hubei Guangfu Group in the Yangtze River New Area. Its business covers research and development, production, sales and technical services. Its related products have obtained China Green Building Materials Product Certification.

To meet the continuous heating requirements of its production line, ZOZEN Boiler supplied a YWW-8400SCIII reciprocating-grate biomass thermal oil boiler with a rated capacity of 7.2 million kcal.

Compared with a steam system, a thermal oil system serves different heating processes in building materials production. Heat-load fluctuations, fuel supply, operator allocation, installation schedules and subsequent maintenance can all affect boiler system configuration.

The boiler is suitable for biomass pellets and other applicable fuels. Based on the production line’s thermal energy requirements, the system was configured with consideration for fuel adaptability, automatic control, site installation and maintenance. It provides continuous thermal energy support for Yiqingsheng’s building materials production system.

From Standalone Equipment to Production System Matching
The two projects in Hubei adopt different boiler solutions for the building materials industry. Hanjia New Materials mainly requires steam for autoclave curing and therefore uses a DZL series biomass steam boiler. Yiqingsheng requires continuous process heating and uses a YWW series biomass thermal oil boiler.

From steam to thermal oil and from autoclave curing to continuous heating, boiler selection in the building materials industry should be based on actual production processes, equipment models and system scope.
