ZOZEN Boiler to Exhibit at Palmex Indonesia 2026

Indonesia is one of the world’s major palm oil producers. Industries such as palm oil processing, feed production, papermaking, and food manufacturing maintain steady demand for steam systems. At the same time, the country has abundant biomass resources, with fuels such as palm kernel shells, rice husks, and wood chips widely available. In some industrial applications, coal-fired boilers also remain suitable. Based on the actual energy use characteristics of the Indonesian market, ZOZEN Boiler will focus on promoting its SZL series and DZL series steam boilers designed for biomass and coal applications.

ZOZEN Boiler to focus on SZL and DZL series steam boilers for the Indonesian market

The SZL series boilers adopt a double-drum longitudinal arrangement and are suitable for medium- and large-scale steam demand projects. They can be configured for biomass and coal firing, with features such as a wide evaporation capacity range, stable operation, and continuous steam supply. For palm oil mills, paper mills, and feed plants that require steady steam loads and reliable steam output, the SZL series supports a stable heat supply system.

The DZL series boilers are more suitable for small- and medium-capacity applications. With a compact structure, reasonable space utilization, and convenient installation and operation, they are widely used in district heating, agricultural product processing, and food manufacturing.

Boiler design adapted to local fuel conditions in Indonesia

Considering the fuel conditions commonly found in Indonesia, ZOZEN Boiler places emphasis in biomass boiler design on combustion uniformity, grate adaptability, and ash discharge performance. Palm kernel shell, for example, has relatively high calorific value, but it also places higher requirements on furnace structure and combustion system matching. Through targeted design of grate structure, air distribution, and furnace arrangement, ZOZEN Boiler improves fuel adaptability and helps users maintain continuous boiler operation and thermal efficiency while making use of local resources.

This has already been demonstrated in Indonesian projects. Previously, ZOZEN Boiler supplied one SZL10-1.25-SS biomass steam boiler to PT Pakan Sehat Unggul (PT PSU) in Indonesia for steam supply in poultry and livestock feed production. Based on the customer’s demand for using local biomass fuels such as palm kernel shells, the combustion system was specifically optimized to better match local fuel characteristics while meeting production load requirements. After commissioning, the project supported stable production and energy cost control.

In addition to biomass boilers, ZOZEN Boiler has also built project experience in Indonesia’s coal-fired boiler market. The company previously supplied two 25 tph coal-fired steam boilers to a local paper mill for pulp heating and paper drying. In response to the papermaking industry’s requirements for steam dryness and steam supply stability, ZOZEN Boiler adopted a suitable heating surface design and chain grate configuration to help the customer achieve continuous steam supply and reduce heat loss during thermal transfer.
