Gas/oil-fired thermal oil heaters and steam boilers are industrial boilers. However, their respective systems, uses, characteristics and advantages are different. Today, we’d like to take ZOZEN gas/oil-fired thermal oil heater and steam boiler as example, and briefly describe the differences between the two types of boilers.
Thermal oil heater refers to a boiler heated by heat transfer oil. The principle of the thermal oil heater is to use the hot oil circulating oil pump to circulate the liquid phase, and then transfer the heat energy to the heating equipment and return to the heating furnace for reheating.
Capacity: 7000-29000 KW
Pressure: 0.8-1Mpa
Steam boiler refers to the boiler equipment that produces steam. The principle of steam boiler is that heats water to certain parameters and produces high-temperature steam. Water is heated in the drum to become steam, and fire gives off heat in the furnace. Usually "t/h" (ton/hour) is used to express the capacity of the boiler.
The final choice of the boiler should be based on the actual working conditions and temperature requirements of enterprises. If the required temperature of medium is lower than 180 °C, it is recommended to use steam boiler. Otherwise, thermal oil heater is recommended. If the working temperature range varies greatly, the combination of the thermal oil heater and steam boiler is recommended.
