The client is a well-established and powerful plastic packaging manufacturer in Pakistan. Since its founding in 1991, the company has focused on the plastic packaging field. After a rigorous selection process, this industry leader chose to introduce a 3 million kcal/h YQW series dual-fuel (natural gas/heavy oil) thermal oil boiler from ZOZEN Boiler. This represents not only a significant upgrade to its production system, but also a strong endorsement of ZOZEN’s capability to deliver reliable and flexible energy solutions under complex operating conditions.

In the production of plastic packaging materials—especially during key processes such as melting, casting, stretching, and heat setting of polypropylene and polyethylene—there is a need for a continuous, stable, and precisely controlled high-temperature heat source. Thermal oil boilers, with their uniform heat supply, precise temperature control, relatively low operating pressure, and high thermal efficiency, are an ideal choice for such process industries.

To address the client’s combined needs for heat source stability, fuel flexibility, and cost control, ZOZEN recommended the YQW-3500Y(Q) oil/gas-fired horizontal thermal oil boiler, which matches their production requirements:

1. Appropriate capacity: A rated thermal power of 3500 kW (about 3 million kcal/h) provides sufficient and stable high-temperature thermal oil for multiple production lines.
2. High-temperature performance: Designed working temperature up to 320°C and working pressure up to 1.0 MPa, ensuring stable and safe operation in the high-temperature environment required for plastic processing.
