ZOZEN Multiple 14 MW Gas Hot Water Boilers for a Large Hotel and Resort Heating Project
Case introduction

Yaohu Town is a large cultural and tourism development covering about 20,000 mu, with a total investment of around RMB 13 billion. The project includes multiple resort hotels and boutique guesthouses, with nearly 3,000 guest rooms in total. For a hospitality project of this scale, the heating system must handle continuous and distributed heat demand across different buildings while maintaining stable operation and reasonable energy consumption.

To match these operating needs, multiple 14 MW gas hot water boilers were installed for the project. The boilers are designed with a large furnace chamber and support automatic safe operation. For hotel and resort applications, this type of configuration helps ensure timely hot water and heating supply, especially during peak occupancy periods, while also improving fuel utilization and reducing day-to-day operating costs.

For hotel operators, heating is not only about comfort, but also about cost control. A boiler system with stable output and good thermal efficiency can reduce unnecessary gas consumption, lower the frequency of manual intervention, and support more predictable energy expenses throughout the heating season. This is particularly important for large resort projects where rooms, public areas, and supporting facilities all require reliable heating.

Environmental performance was also an important requirement for this project. The gas boilers provided by ZOZEN use a sealed structure, which helps prevent flue gas leakage, and the NOx emission is below 30 mg/Nm3. While meeting the heating needs of the resort, the system also helps reduce environmental impact during operation, which fits well with the green operation goals of cultural tourism projects.

Another key point of this project was the delivery schedule. The total delivery and installation period was only 4 months, which left limited time for coordination. ZOZEN advanced the project according to schedule and completed related tasks ahead of time. During installation, ZOZEN engineers continued to follow up on site and coordinated with relevant parties to keep the work progressing in an orderly manner. During major holiday periods, technical personnel were also arranged to stay at the boiler room, providing direct support for the trial operation of the town.

Customer feedback—— Yaohu Town
