What is the working principle of the thermal oil heating systems?
The thermal oil heating systems, also called the organic heat carrier boiler, refers to the boiler heated by the heat medium oil. It is a kind of once-through boiler designed based on the concept of forced circulation. Due to the characteristics of low pressure, high temperature and precise control of the working temperature, thermal oil heaters are widely used in the petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, printing and dyeing, light industry, building materials, food, road asphalt heating and other industries.
The working principle of the thermal oil heating systems:
The thermal oil heater is fueled by coal, oil or gas and adopts the thermal oil pump to force the medium conducting the circulation in the liquid phase. The medium transfers the heat energy to the heating equipment and then returns to the furnace for being reheated. The oil-fired thermal oil heater has the advantages of high-temperature and low-pressure heating and precise control of the medium. The thermal oil heating system is usually composed of the main body (heating body, high-temperature oil pump and filter), high-level oil tank, control cabinet, pipeline and so on as a complete set of equipment, which is together with the heating equipment to form the forced liquid-phase circulation heating system.
The thermal oil heating system is mainly used for heating crude oil and natural gas and processing, storage and transportation of mineral oil. The refinery uses heat transfer oil to preheat cold materials, and it has been successfully used to heat the evaporation device of solvent and extractant in the process of lubricating oil manufacturing. Compared with steam heating, the thermal oil heating systems has the advantages of uniform heating, simple operation, safety and environmental protection, energy saving, high temperature control accuracy and low operating pressure, and has been widely used as a heat transfer medium in modern industrial production.
In the chemical industry, the thermal oil heating system is mainly used for distillation, evaporation, polymerization, condensation/de-emulsification, lipidation, drying, melting, dehydrogenation, forced heat preservation and heating of synthetic devices such as pesticides, intermediates, antioxidants, surfactants and spices.
In the food industry, the thermal oil heating system is mainly used for heating bread baking device, biscuit baking device, candy production device, grain drying device, cooking oil squeezing and refining device, distillation pot, autoclave and conveyor belt dryer.

In 1886, Atlanta pharmacist John Pemberton mixed the first glass of Coca-Cola. What began as a “brown tonic” selling 25 bottles a day has since become a global beverage legend, spanning more than 200 countries with 2 billion servings consumed daily. In Mongolia, its exclusively authorized producer MCS Coca-Cola is expanding into new categories such as iced tea and juices. Powering this strategy is the thermal engine behind the scenes: three 8 t/h WNS series gas-fired steam boilers fr...12 Aug 2025
