What does the full boiler load mean?

05 Aug 2022

Boiler load refers to the capacity of generating steam per unit time, which is related to the output of the boiler in actual operation. When the boiler load occurs, its efficiency will also change. There are many conditions of boiler load. Here, ZOZEN Boiler will introduce you to what full boiler load means.

What does full boiler load mean?

The full load of the boiler is the state that the boiler reaches the rated load, and it is the heat provided by the heat medium produced every hour under the rated parameters of the boiler. For example, the 20-ton gas boiler, the model is SZS20-1.25-Q, and the full load (rated evaporation) of the boiler is 20 tons per hour.

Boiler full load and economic load

Although it is easy to understand the meaning of boiler full load, it should be noted that in the daily operation, due to the influence of many heat losses, the boiler full load operation will lead to the decline of economic performance. The efficiency is higher when the load is slightly lower than the full load of the boiler, generally in the range of 75%-85% of the full load of the boiler.

The above is the answer to what the full boiler load mean. ZOZEN Boiler was established in 1988.
