Single drum china water tube boiler

There are two main structures of single drum china water tube boiler, one is single drum vertical water-tube boiler, the other is single drum horizontal water-tube boiler, and the latter structure often has a large boiler capacity.

This kind of boiler has only one drum, which is longitudinally arranged in the center of the top of the boiler, and two sets of convection bundles are arranged on the left and right sides of the furnace.

The upper ends of convection tube bundles and water wall tubes on both sides are connected with the boiler drum, and the lower ends are respectively connected with the lower headers on both sides, thus omitting the downcomer of the water wall.

Advantages of single drum china water tube boiler

There is no partition wall in the convection tube bundle, and the flue gas flows once, which makes the boiler structure very compact. After adopting a single drum, the steel consumption and manufacturing workload are reduced.

Double drums china water tube boiler

Double drums water tube boilers are also divided into two arrangements: vertical double drum and horizontal double drum.

The structure of this boiler is mainly composed of upper drum, lower drum, water wall tube, convection tube bundle and header. The tail is equipped with cast iron economizer. The upper drum has a larger diameter and a longer drum body than the lower drum, and the two drums are placed in parallel and vertically on the same vertical plane. The drums are connected by two sets of convection tube bundles, and two longitudinal smoke partition walls are arranged at the left front part and the middle rear part of the tube bundles.

Boiler for the textile industry
Related Solutions
Textile refers to a multi-scale structural processing technique of a fiber or fiber assembly, it includes many steam consuming sections including dyeing, drying, slashing, printing, pressing etc.., all of which needs steam from boilers. With the increase in the demand for textiles, the steam consumption of textile factories is also increasing. Whether building a new textile factory or rebuilding and expanding a textile factory are faced with the problem of boiler selection. Except for steam demanding, textile plants also need higher temperature heat source for printing, dyeing and hot-pressing sections, where thermal oil heaters will be used to heat the thermal oil to above 300°C high temperature, after the thermal oil are used for heat consuming machines, it will come back to boiler for circulating using. So, steam boiler and thermal oil heater combination is commonly used in textile plants, ZOZEN already provided completed solutions for over 50 customers.

Advantages of double drums china water tube boiler

By changing the distance between the upper and lower drums, and changing the number of rows and the distance between tubes of convection tube bundles, the flue gas velocity can be kept within the required range, and the flue partition wall is arranged along the center line of the drum, which is beneficial to removing the ash accumulated at the lower part of the tube bundle. In order to match the depth of the furnace, the furnace row ratio is longer, which is beneficial to full combustion and reduce the carbon content of ash.
