  • What is a package boiler? 2019-11-29
Package boiler is a boiler that had been fabricated and available as a complete package. The entire pressure parts have been assembled in the workshop and ready to be sent to the field or site where power plant is located. On the field/site requires only connection and integration of course work in electrical connections, water pipes, steam pipes and fuel piping system to operate. Package boiler is one of classification of boiler based on erection. Design package boilers in general are the type of Fire Tube Boiler and have made up shell and tubes. This type has high heat transfer both radiation and convection.
  • What are the most common boiler fuel types? 2019-08-23
Boilers are often distinguished by fuels that power them. The kind of fuel makes an essential difference in operating costs and environmental impact, so it’s important to learn about the various types of boiler fuel. Coal, is a common boiler fuel. It dominates the global energy arena due to its abundance, affordability and wide distribution across the world. The most commonly used coal fuels include anthracite, bituminous coal, sub-bituminous coal, lignite and peat.
  • Why do boilers have a minimum flow requirement? 2019-08-01
Boilers with low water volumes require a minimum flow requirement to prevent localized boiling and subsequent heat exchanger damage in a low to zero water flow situation. Minimum flow requirement varies by boiler design. Regardless if a boiler itself has a minimum flow requirement, every hydronic heating system needs to be designed to carry the energy being created away from the boiler to avoid high temperature shut down.
  • What are steam boilers with a low NOx system? 2019-06-14
Steam boilers with a low NOx system are specially designed to minimize the environmental impact with the production of dry saturated steam. This type of boiler incorporates a stainless steel economizer with a cross flow integrated within the boiler and that, consequently, allows to reach maximum efficiency. In addition, it has a natural gas burner with low NOx emissions.
  • What maintenance does a biomass boiler require? 2019-05-10
We would recommend your biomass boiler has at least an annual maintenance service. Like anything if you maintain your boiler correctly it will last longer and perform better. Biomass boilers burning even the most difficult of materials can operate unattended, but weekly inspection visits are required to carry out a visual inspection of the boiler and fuel feed system, to check the lubrication of bearings and to empty the ashbin. As a large enterprise specializing in manufacturing boilers, ZOZEN...
  • Why are there percussive sounds and vibrations in the boiler drum or pipe of a coal-fired boiler? (water impact) 2018-07-12
Question details (Performance):The steam pipe vibrates violently and has a dull impact sound.Answer:  fault reason: There is air in pipeline  ; automatic air vent valve is not turned on; or it is out of order. Troubleshooting: Check all the air release valves on the water supply pipe and the air release valves on the top of the boiler tube for gas storage. If the valve fails, it should be replaced immediately.
  • What is the reason for pump in the gas-fired boiler does not transfer oil? 2018-07-12
Question details (performance):A pump in a gas boiler does not transfer oil. Answer: Fault reason:(1) Pump failure.(2) Oil pressure and power are reduced.(3) The oil inlet valve is not sealed.(4) The inlet pipe is not sealed.(5) The interceptor valve is closed.(6) The filter is contaminated.(7) The filter is not sealed.(8) The tubing is not sealed.(9) Pump suck air inlet.(10) The vacuum degree in oil tube is too high.Troubleshooting:(1) Replace with new pump.(2) Remove the inlet valve and clean or replace it.(3) Seal the inlet pipe.(4) Open.(5) Cleaning.(6) Replace the sealing ring.(7) Tighten and exhaust.(8) Clean the filter and valve.
