How many tons of boilers are special equipment?
As a kind of common heating equipment, boiler has many functions. Textile, energy, building materials, construction, chemistry and metallurgy are the main markets of boiler. According to different classification methods, there are many kinds of boilers, but not all of them are special equipment and are subject to supervision. Therefore, users often ask how many tons of boilers are special equipment.
How many tons of boilers are special equipment?
As to how many tons of boilers belong to special equipment, please refer to the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment, in which Chapter VII Supplementary Provisions Article 88 The following terms in these Regulations mean: boiler refers to the closed equipment that heats the liquid contained to a certain parameter and bears a certain pressure by using various fuels, electricity or other energy sources, and its scope is defined as the pressure-bearing steam boiler with a volume greater than or equal to 30L; Pressure-bearing hot water boiler with outlet water pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa (gauge pressure) and rated power greater than or equal to 0.1MW; Organic heat carrier boiler.
Therefore, it is obvious how many tons of boilers belong to special equipment.
Matters needing attention in selection of special equipment
After knowing how many tons of boilers belong to special equipment, users should also know the following points that special equipment boilers need to pay attention to:
(1) Establish and effectively implement special equipment safety management system, energy-saving management system of high-energy-consuming special equipment, and operating procedures;
(2) The purchase and use of special equipment that has been licensed for production (including design, manufacture, installation, modification and repair) and has passed the inspection shall not purchase special equipment that has exceeded the designed service life, and it is forbidden to use special equipment that has been explicitly eliminated and scrapped by the state;
(3) Go through the use registration, get the Special Equipment Use Registration Certificate, and return the use registration certificate when the equipment is cancelled;
(4) Check the operation conditions of special equipment operators, and correct the illegal operations in time;
(7) Carry out regular maintenance and regular self-inspection on the special equipment in use, and timely check and eliminate the hidden dangers of accidents;
(8) Formulate special emergency plans for special equipment accidents, conduct regular emergency drills, report accidents in time, and cooperate with accident investigation and handling;
(9) Necessary inputs to ensure the safety and energy saving of special equipment ...

On the beverage and liquor production line, steam is never merely an auxiliary energy source. Whether for beverage heating, beer brewing, or the relevant processes in vodka production, the steam system runs through the entire production flow. For enterprises, the stable operation of the boiler directly affects the workshop rhythm, process connection, and daily management efficiency. Recently, the SHX series circulating fluidized bed boiler provided by ZOZEN Boiler for a Mongolian enterprise&mdas...31 Mar 2026 -
For many manufacturers with mature production experience in China, expanding capacity overseas or building a new factory abroad often starts with one key question: can the local infrastructure and energy supply support long-term operation? This is especially important in Africa. In many countries, raw materials such as timber are readily available, while conventional fuels like natural gas and diesel are often more expensive and less stable in supply. For plywood plants, this creates a practica...24 Mar 2026 -
From late 2025 to early 2026, forward-looking reports from the World Economic Forum (WEF) and other organizations indicated that despite significant growth in global renewable energy capacity in 2024, global carbon dioxide emissions still reached historical highs. Facing severe climate safety challenges, multiple countries globally have introduced stricter environmental policies to promote a green and low-carbon economic transition. In this macro context, energy conservation and emission reducti...17 Mar 2026
