What are the factors that affect boiler load?
Boiler load refers to the capacity of boiler to produce steam per unit time. Boiler load is an important external factor that can't be controlled in actual operation, and it is also the main factor that affects the energy consumption level of the system. Knowing which factors affect boiler load can help improve the energy consumption level of the boiler. Here, ZOZEN Boiler summarizes the factors that affect the boiler load.
In the process of boiler design, there will be a rated load value, which refers to the capacity of the boiler to generate steam in a unit time under the rated working pressure. To ensure stable combustion and normal water circulation of the boiler, the evaporation capacity of the boiler should not be less than 50% of the rated load for a long time. However, in actual operation, the factors affecting boiler load are as follows:
1. Fuel quantity and characteristics
2. Bed temperature
3. Bed pressure
4. Oxygen content
5. Proportion of primary and secondary air
6. Feed water temperature
7. Cleanliness of heating surface, heat transfer effect
The above is a list of the factors that affect the boiler load.

See You in Dhaka on April 29 | ZOZEN Boiler Confirms Participation in BTKG 2026 Bangladesh ranks among the world's major garment and textile producing and exporting countries. Its extensive textile and dyeing industry maintains a consistent, concrete demand for stable and efficient industrial heat sources. From April 29 to May 2, 2026, the Bangladesh International Textile, Knitting & Garment Industry Exhibition (BTKG 2026) will be held at the ICCB International Convention City Bashundhara i...21 Apr 2026 -
In Pakistan, garment manufacturing and fabric processing remain important parts of industrial production. For these factories, steam is not an auxiliary utility but a core part of the production chain. Processes such as dyeing, drying, heat setting, and finishing all require a stable and continuous steam supply. Any fluctuation in steam output may affect production rhythm. Against this background, more textile companies in Pakistan are paying closer attention to fuel adaptability, operating sta...14 Apr 2026 -
Mongolia's industrial sector has been expanding steadily. Demand for reliable heat supply is growing — particularly in food and beverage manufacturing and urban district heating. Coal is the dominant industrial fuel. The continental climate means heating systems run for long periods each year. At the same time, factories are raising their standards for steam quality, equipment uptime, and emissions compliance. These factors together make boiler selection a more demanding process than it us...07 Apr 2026
