A Boiler Generating Steam for Brewed Aroma: ZOZEN Boiler Supports Green Production at Yanjing Beer
As the beer industry moves toward greener, more continuous, and more refined production, the steam system has become an important part of brewing operations. Recently, the cooperation case between ZOZEN Boiler and Yanjing Beer (Guilin Liquan) Co., Ltd. once again highlighted the essential role and system value of industrial boiler equipment in the food and beverage industry.

Industrial Heat and Beer Brewing Are Closely Connected
From a Drop of Beer, the Value of Stable Steam Becomes Clear
Yanjing Beer (Guilin Liquan) Co., Ltd. was formerly Guilin Liquan Co., Ltd. The company was established in 1985 and began production in 1987. After years of development, its Guilin base has reached an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons. Together with Yanjing Yulin and Yanjing Kunming, the group’s total annual production capacity has reached 1.5 million tons, making it one of the influential enterprises in China’s beer industry.
Beer brewing is not a single process, but a production chain with high requirements for temperature, timing, and cleanliness. Mashing requires heat to support raw material conversion, boiling requires steam to maintain process consistency, and sterilization and CIP cleaning also depend on a continuous, stable, and clean steam supply. For a large-scale beer producer like Yanjing Beer, the steam boiler is not only a heat source, but also a key factor in production continuity, product quality stability, and energy utilization.

From raw material conversion to finished beer, the steam system runs through the key stages of beer production.
ZOZEN Boiler Provides a Systematic Response to Beer Production Needs
Beer manufacturers often pay close attention to several issues in steam boiler application: whether steam supply remains stable during peak production periods, whether operating energy consumption can be controlled, whether emissions meet environmental requirements, and whether automation can reduce labor dependence. Based on these practical operating conditions, ZOZEN Boiler supplied a WNS10-1.25-Q gas steam boiler for the Yanjing Beer project.

The boiler at the project site is operating steadily, providing continuous steam support for Yanjing Beer’s production line.
The unit adopts a horizontal internal-fired, three-pass wet-back structure, making it suitable for long-term continuous operation. The three-pass flue gas flow helps extend the heat exchange path, while the wet-back structure reduces direct high-temperature flue gas erosion on the rear part of the boiler. Combined with the gas-fired combustion system, the boiler provides a stable steam source for beer production. ZOZEN Boiler also matched the solution to Yanjing Beer’s production rhythm so that boiler load adjustment remains coordinated with steam demand in brewing.
Green Brewing Depends on Low-NOx and Energy Efficiency
As food and beverage companies place greater emphasis on cleaner production, boiler emissions and energy performance are receiving more attention. For this project, ZOZEN Boiler equipped the system with a low-NOx combustion system, with nitrogen oxide emissions below 30 mg/Nm3, meeting relevant environmental requirements and providing a solid equipment basis for the company’s green production management.
In operation, ZOZEN Boiler helps maintain efficient fuel utilization through coordinated design of the furnace structure, heat transfer surface arrangement, and control system. For the beer industry, stable steam pressure and controllable operating cost are often more practical than a single equipment parameter. ZOZEN Boiler’s service for Yanjing Beer also reflects its understanding of steam usage patterns in the food and beverage industry.
Service Extends Beyond Delivery
After the boiler system is put into operation, after-sales service also affects the user experience. ZOZEN Boiler provides support in installation guidance, commissioning, operation training, inspection, and maintenance, helping customers reduce equipment management pressure. For continuous production enterprises, timely response, standardized maintenance, and spare parts support can reduce the impact of unplanned shutdowns.
The Yanjing Beer project shows that ZOZEN Boiler’s cooperation with a representative enterprise in the beer industry is not just delivery of a single boiler, but a complete solution covering steam supply, environmental performance, operational management, and follow-up service. As the food and beverage industry continues its green transformation, ZOZEN Boiler will keep providing reliable equipment and solid service to support more brewing enterprises with stable thermal energy.
