Specialty Lubricants Company Installs ZOZEN Boiler 4 Million Kcal Gas-Fired Thermal Oil Heater
Recently, the 4 million kcal YQW series gas-fired thermal oil boiler introduced through the cooperation between Hangzhou Derunbao Oil Co., Ltd. and ZOZEN Boiler has been installed and is currently in the commissioning stage. Centered on the design concepts of high efficiency, intelligence, and safety, this project has had a positive impact on energy saving, consumption reduction, and optimization of plant space layout.

Enterprise upgrade demands drive boiler equipment innovation
Since its establishment in 1999, Hangzhou Derunbao Oil Co., Ltd. has been deeply engaged in the R&D and production of specialty lubricants. With continuous technological innovation, it has received multiple honors, including National High-Tech Enterprise, Provincial High-Tech Enterprise R&D Center, and Provincial Postdoctoral Workstation. As production scale expands and technology advances, higher requirements have been placed on energy equipment—especially in terms of improving energy efficiency and on-site space utilization—prompting the company to seek solutions that better fit its needs.
In Zhejiang Province, energy efficiency standards are continuously improving, and enterprises pay particular attention to the thermal efficiency and environmental performance of boiler equipment. At the same time, limited plant space imposes strict requirements on equipment footprint. Against this backdrop, Derunbao chose to cooperate with ZOZEN Boiler by introducing a new gas-fired thermal oil boiler to meet the dual goals of production line upgrades and energy saving and consumption reduction.

Optimized structural layout enhances plant space utilization
The delivered 4 million kcal YQW series gas-fired thermal oil boiler features multiple optimizations in structural design. Addressing limited on-site space, the air preheater is innovatively arranged on the top of the boiler. This design effectively saves horizontal floor area, providing greater flexibility for subsequent process layout and equipment expansion.
The main boiler adopts a two-pass or three-pass round coil structure, with a necked-end coil design that effectively protects the end furnace wall and extends equipment service life. The overall compact layout facilitates installation and maintenance, meeting the practical needs of modern factories for efficient space utilization.
Energy-saving and intelligent features support high-quality production
In terms of energy performance, this model achieves a thermal efficiency of 94%, meeting Zhejiang’s Level II energy efficiency standard. It helps reduce operating costs and supports compliance with energy-saving and environmental policies. The supporting automated control system offers a high level of intelligence, enabling precise regulation of thermal oil temperature and pressure to ensure stable and safe production processes.
According to the project leader, commissioning has proceeded smoothly since the boiler was delivered and installed. During operation, the intelligent control system can monitor operating parameters in real time and make timely adjustments, enabling operators to stay fully informed of equipment status and improving overall O&M efficiency.
The project leader further noted that as the enterprise continues to advance energy conservation, emission reduction, and intelligent manufacturing, high-efficiency and intelligent energy equipment is of great significance to sustainable development. The smooth progress of this boiler project will provide strong support for the subsequent expansion and upgrading of the company’s production lines.
