ZOZEN fully starts the reform of operation standardization and process standardization

The kick-off meeting of the Lean Factory-Standardization Project of ZOZEN was successfully held at 9 a.m. on April 20, which marked the beginning of ZOZEN's comprehensive reform. From the moment on, ZOZEN would deeply implement the concept of Operation standardization and Process standardization and comprehensively improve the internal management level and overall competitiveness. General Manager Mr. Zhang Guoping, mid and senior-level managers attended the meeting.

2020 is the start year of the construction of the Lean Factory of ZOZEN. Based on the successful application of MES, ZOZEN will build a digital Lean Factory in combination with Lean Management and implement the concept of Operation standardization and Process standardization to every production process. This is an epoch-making change both for ZOZEN and the entire industrial boiler industry.

At the kick-off meeting, General Manager Mr. Zhang Guoping delivered a speech and made an organizational commitment. "ZOZEN had got encouraging achievements after more than thirty years of efforts. If we rested on our laurels, the only result was decay." Mr. Zhang Guoping said. He emphasized the importance of transformation and innovation again in the meeting, which was the source of vitality of the enterprise.

As the person in charge of the Lean Factory-Standardization Project, Zhang Yi made an introduction of the overall planning of the project, striving to build a modern and quality-centered factory. The first annual goal of the standardization project of ZOZEN is to realize standardized operations and form a learning organization. The learning organization means that the original working methods of employees will be changed and the subjective initiative of employees will be developed to implement the standardization project better and improve the management and manufacturing level of ZOZEN.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of Lean Factory-Standardization Project, ZOZEN  optimized the system structure and personnel organization through the preliminary overall arrangement of various departments. Besides, the entire project was divided into 9 subprojects including Product quotation reference books, Quotation process, Order review process, etc. Every subproject was in the charge of a designated person who would make a personal commitment on the spot and would lead the subproject team to complete the plan on time and achieve the project goals.

Every ZOZEN people knows that quality management cannot just be written on paper. The construction of the Lean Factory will endow the entire production and operation processes of ZOZEN with standardization, which will further improve the production efficiency, product quality and the skills of employees.

In the afternoon, the Lean Factory construction team conducted internal training for the middle and senior-level managers of ZOZEN. Through team collaboration games and in-depth exchanges, the participants had a deeper understanding of the importance of Lean Management and became confident about the implementation of the subsequent project.
