The low-pressure and high-temperature heating can be realized by the utilization of the high-temperature characteristics of heat medium oil.If there is too much moisture in the low-temperature heat medium oil, there will be pressure fluctuations, which will cause some other problems. In addition, if the heat medium oil does not flow in the furnace owing to the stop of pump, the oil temperature will rise and exceed the limit value, which not will greatly affect the service life of the heater and cause the deterioration of the heat medium oil.
Generally, there is moisture in heat medium oil. And, the moisture will be evaporated during the heating process of the oil. If the water vapor is not discharged from the thermal oil heater, it will cause the fluctuation of heat medium oil pressure. However, the oil-gas separator can separate the water vapor from the heat medium oil and discharge it from the heater, which ensures the stable oil pressure.

A process load is usually a high-pressure steam load. A process load pertains to manufacturing operations, where heat from steam or hot water is used in the process. The batch load is a key issue when selecting equipment, because a batch-type process load can have a very large instantaneous demand that can be several times larger than the rating of the boiler. For example, based on its size, a heating coil can consume a large amount of steam simply to fill and pressurize the coil. When designing a boiler room for a process load with instantaneous demand, a more careful boiler selection process should take place.
System load is measured in either BTUs or tons of steam (at a specific pressure and temperature). It would be nearly impossible to size and select a boiler(s) without knowing the system load requirements. Knowing the requirements leads to the following information:
