Excess air provides safe operation above stoichiometric conditions. A burner is typically set up with 15% to 20% excess air in higher firing ranges. Higher excess air levels result in fuel being used to heat the air instead of transferring it to usable energy, increasing stack losses and significantly decreasing efficiency. Boilers with lower excess air throughout the operating range have higher efficiencies.
Emissions standards for boilers have become very stringent in many areas because of the new Clean Air regulations. The ability of the boiler to meet emissions regulations depends on the type of boiler and burner options. ZOZEN has options to meet 5ppm NOx regulations, as well as 1 ppm CO regulation at 30 ppm NOx out of the box. We can also custom-engineer Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) for more rigorous emissions controls.
Package boiler is a boiler that had been fabricated and available as a complete package. The entire pressure parts have been assembled in the workshop and ready to be sent to the field or site where power plant is located. On the field/site requires only connection and integration of course work in electrical connections, water pipes, steam pipes and fuel piping system to operate. Package boiler is one of classification of boiler based on erection. Design package boilers in general are the type of Fire Tube Boiler and have made up shell and tubes. This type has high heat transfer both radiation and convection.
Purchasing a new boiler is a big decision for any company or organization. It means investing thousands of dollars in a piece of equipment you’ll be using for many years to come. Needless to say, it’s not a venture you should take lightly. You need to know ahead of time exactly what you should be looking for in a new boiler.
A fire tube steam boiler is a boiler where the combustion gases from the burner are channeled through tubes that are surrounded by the fluid to be heated. The boiler body is the pressure vessel and contains the fluid. In most cases, this fluid is water that will circulate for heating purposes or become steam for use in processing.
Each set of tubes through which the combustion gas passes, before making a turn, is considered a "step". Consequently, a three-step boiler will have three sets of pipes with the outlet located at the rear of the boiler.
The primary objective of an industrial boiler is the generation of steam. Steam is generated by heat transfer at a constant pressure. The fluid, which is initially in a liquid state, is heated, produces a variation in its phase and becomes saturated vapour.
This saturated steam can then be used for different applications such as sterilization, fluid heating or electricity generation.
A typical system includes the heater, circulation pump, expansion tank, and the user's process. Depending on the temperature requirements and the system design control valves may also be utilized.
1. Primary air fan: after being heated by the air pre-heater, primary air enters into the wind chamber, then into the furnace through wind caps through the air distributor to fluidize particulate materials;2. Secondary air fan: after being heated by the air pre-heater, secondary air enters into the furnace through the secondary air ducts for complete combustion of fuels; the seal air, conveying air and fuel spreading air of the feeding device also adopt secondary air; 3.
