The coal-fired boiler refers to the boiler uses various types of coal as fuel and converts the heat of coal to steam or hot water.
There are generally two calculation methods of the circulating water volume of a coal-fired hot water boiler. One is to calculate the hourly water volume of one square meter and the other is to calculate the design parameter volume of every ton. As for the make-up water volume of this type of boiler, it is usually calculated as 1% to 3% of its total circulating water.
If the final temperature of feed water doesn’t reach the saturated temperature after being heated by an economizer, (that is, the feed water has not reached the boiling state), we call the economizer as a nonsteaming economizer. Generally, the final temperature is 30-50℃ lower than the saturated temperature.
Four factors are related to the failure of the draft fan of the biomass-fired boiler. The factors are electric, electrical motors, dampers and induced draft fans. Therefore, if the draft fan breaks down, you can check the electric and electrical motor first, then you can check the damper and the induced fan.
1. The storage tank is used to store the heat medium oil of the heating system;
2. The storage tank is used to receive the overrunning heat medium oil；
3. The storage tank is used to supplement heat medium oil for the heating system;
4. The storage tank should be placed at the lowest position of the system;
5. A firewall should be placed between the storage tank and the thermal oil heater;
6. The storage tank should be operated at a low liquid level.
1. If there is air in the pump or suction pipe, the air should be discharged.
2. If the depth of the bottom valve immersed in the water is not deep enough, the depth should be increased.
3. If the rotational speed is too slow or the conveyor belt is too loose, the rotational speed should be adjusted and the conveyor belt should be tightened.
4. If the impeller, suction pipe and bottom valve are blocked by dirt, you should check the pump body and clean the dirt.
5. If the height of water conveyance exceeds the regulations too much, the pump head should be adjusted to the specified range.
Firstly, the combustion of biomass fuel is easy to control. The fuel is easy to ignite. Besides, the combustion speed is faster than that of coal.
Secondly, the biomass-fired boiler can be ignited and extinguished at any time while the coal-fired boiler cannot. The biomass-fired boiler can also be ignited automatically.
Thirdly, the biomass-fired boiler can achieve zero emission of sulfur dioxide, which belongs to environment-friendly boilers.
The temperature of flue gas generated by a biomass-fired boiler is relatively high. But it is not corrosive. So, it is suitable to use heat resisting glass fiber needled felt bag which has a good use effect. Moreover, this kind of cloth bag is not very expensive.
A process load is usually a high-pressure steam load. A process load pertains to manufacturing operations, where heat from steam or hot water is used in the process. A process load is further defined as either continuous or batch. In a continuous load, the demand is fairly constant - such as in a heating load. The batch load is characterized by short-term demands. The batch load is a key issue when selecting equipment, because a batch-type process load can have a very large instantaneous demand that can be several times larger than the rating of the boiler. For example, based on its size, a heating coil can consume a large amount of steam simply to fill and pressurize the coil. When designing a boiler room for a process load with instantaneous demand, a more careful boiler selection process should take place.
