  • What types of materials (valves, piping, gaskets etc.) should be used with thermal fluid systems? 2024-02-02
In thermal fluid systems, the choice of materials for valves, piping, gaskets, and other components is critical to ensure the system's integrity, efficiency, and safety. These materials must be compatible with the thermal fluid used, capable of withstanding the operating temperatures and pressures, and resistant to corrosion. As a leader in industrial boiler manufacturing, ZOZEN Boiler emphasizes the importance of selecting the right materials for each component of a thermal fluid system. Below ...
  • What is the load tracking of an industrial boiler? 2023-04-27
Load tracking is an important feature of industrial boilers that helps to optimize their performance and efficiency. Load tracking refers to the ability of a boiler to adjust its output in response to changes in demand.   In an industrial setting, the demand for steam or hot water can vary significantly depending on factors such as production schedules, weather conditions, and other variables. Load tracking allows the boiler to adjust its output to match the changing demand, ensuring that...
  • How to install the boiler exhaust valve? 2021-08-20
Because a certain amount of air is usually dissolved in water, with the increase of temperature, the solubility of air decreases, and the gas is gradually separates from the water in the process of water circulation, and gradually gathers together to form large bubbles and even gas columns. Gas is often produced due to the water supplement, so the boiler exhaust valve must be used to avoid damage to the system.
  • Why use biomass instead of fossil fuel? 2021-04-30
The integration of a biomass system is relatively simple. In most cases the systems are retro fitted and replace a fossil fuel boiler. The biomass boiler replaces the existing fossil fuel boiler, but the downstream heating system will remain the same, so there is no need to replace the radiators or whatever emitters are in place.
  • What are the precautions for using the hot medium oil? 2020-12-25
The hot medium oil of the thermal oil heater should be tested regularly to measure and analyze the physical and chemical indicators such as the residual carbon, acid value, viscosity, flash point, melting point and so on, so as to know the quality changes in time and analyze the reasons for the changes. When the acid value exceeds 0.5mgKOH/g, the viscosity change reaches 15%, the flash point change reaches 20%, and the residual carbon (mass fraction) reaches 1.5%, it indicates that the performance of the hot medium oil has changed. Therefore, the user needs to regularly add the new heat carrier when using the hot medium oil to keep the residual carbon in the system stable.
  • How do I deal with the insulation missing of a steam boiler? 2020-06-12
Missing insulation reduces the system’s efficiency. Insulation helps hold heat in the system, and when the heat can dissipate, more fuel is needed to maintain proper temperature and pressure. Since missing insulation may not be visible, the best way to detect it is with a thermal imager. If you don’t have a thermal imager as a part of your building’s operations, a plumber or other professional likely will carry one. If your energy costs have increased without a rise in the amount you use the boiler, suspect missing insulation and call to have the system inspected with a thermal imager.
  • What is the requirement of the control system of a coal-fired steam boiler ? 2020-05-15
The coal-fired steam boiler is a forced circulation high-pressure single-tube DC boiler. Its operation process includes three processes: the combustion process of the fuel, the heat transfer process of flue gas to water and the vaporization process after water absorbs heat. In order to better control these different processes, the control system should make the heat of pulverized coal combustion adapt to the requirements of steam load changes and dryness.
  • What impact will flue gas passes have on boiler performance? 2020-01-10
The number of passes that the flue gas travels before exiting the boiler has been a good criterion when comparing boilers. As the flue gas travels through the boiler it cools, and therefore changes volume. Multiple pass boilers increase efficiency because the passes are designed to maximize flue gas velocities as the flue gas cools. ZOZEN has developed new design technologies in our WNS series boilers allowing for comparable efficiencies in fewer passes, resulting in smaller boiler systems that will fit in tighter quarters.
