Boiler X-ray inspection is based on the difference in the absorption of X-rays by different material thicknesses. The X-ray inspection of boiler is to show the internal defects of materials, parts and welds from the film and image by using the X-ray perspective photography and real-time imaging of industrial television. Such as crack, shrinkage cavity, air hole, slag inclusion, undissolved, incomplete penetration and etc. The quality of materials or products can be evaluated by observing the nature, size and position of defects, so as to prevent major accidents caused by internal defects and poor processing of materials.
A boiler hydrostatic test is a way in which pressure vessels such as pipelines, plumbing, gas cylinders, boilers and fuel tanks can be tested for strength and leaks. The main purpose of the hydrostatic test is to identify the tightness and compressive strength of the pressure components of the boiler, including but not limited to welding lines, flange joints and tube expansion joints, and visually observe the deformation of the pressure components. Practice has proved that the boiler hydrostatic test can detect defects in boilers, and the corresponding measures can be taken accordingly. Therefore, it is an important step and means to ensure the safe operation of the boiler.
