Chemical Industry: ZOZEN 20 t/h Biomass Reciprocating Grate Steam Boiler Project

Heilongjiang Kailunda Technology Co., Ltd. is engaged in the manufacture of chemical products and pesticide active ingredients. Steam is required for process heating, equipment heat preservation, drying, and other thermal processes.

As the heating season in Heilongjiang is relatively long, the company focused on steam supply stability, fuel adaptability, operational safety, and maintenance requirements when selecting the boiler. Based on the company’s steam demand and available biomass fuel, the project uses a ZOZEN DZW series biomass steam boiler with a reciprocating grate.

The DZW biomass boiler adopts a reciprocating grate structure. According to the characteristics of the fuel, the fuel feeding, grate operation, and air supply parameters can be adjusted to accommodate the combustion requirements of different biomass fuels.

The boiler is equipped with an automatic control system for centralized management of fuel feeding, forced and induced draft, steam and water parameters, and safety interlocks. This supports standardized boiler operation.

Based on the process steam demand, fuel characteristics, site conditions, and environmental requirements, ZOZEN Boiler can also configure supporting systems, including feedwater, dust removal, ash discharge, and flue gas treatment systems.

The boiler and supporting systems are currently being installed on site. Subsequent work will include pipeline connection, equipment commissioning, and operator training according to the project schedule.
