In the entire railway system, apart from the railway stations in each region which are considered as important nodes, the 69 locomotive depots under the jurisdiction of the railway bureaus are the main driving departments in the railway transportation system. The locomotive depots are responsible for the use of locomotives, comprehensive maintenance and overall maintenance. In recent years, with outstanding product advantages and strong enterprise strength, ZOZEN has provided high-efficient and energy-saving gas-fired boiler systems for many locomotive depots.

In the three years from 2017 to 2019, ZOZEN had completed the manufacturing and installation of 16 sets of gas-fired boilers for Urumqi Railway Bureau. During this period, the Hami Locomotive Depot removed 3 sets of coal-fired boilers from the Hami Maintenance Workshop of the West Depot. And, ZOZEN successfully completed the installation and commissioning of the WNS series gas-fired steam boilers within the agreed time. The boilers became important heat source of the locomotive depot.

ZOZEN WNS series gas-fired boiler has a compact structure. The boiler is stable and reliable. It adopts a large-diameter corrugated furnace to ensure sufficient steam storage space and heating area. The heat transfer coefficient of threaded flue tubes is 1.2 times higher than that of ordinary flue tubes. Besides, energy-saving devices were equipped at the tail of the flue to improve the inlet water temperature, reduce the exhaust gas temperature and increase the thermal efficiency to more than 98%, which realized the goal of energy saving and emission reduction for many locomotive depots.
