Energy-saving, as the name implies, refers to saving energy. The higher the energy utilization rate is, the higher the combustion efficiency is. Under the condition that the boilers have the same parameters, the boilers with high combustion efficiency consume less fuel to heat the same amount of water to a certain temperature. The combustion condition can be measured by testing the CO content of the flue gas. If the CO value is kept below 50ppm, it means that the fuel is fully burnt.

The wasted heat will be discharged to the air as exhuast gas, which will reduce the thermal efficiency of the boiler and weaken the energy-saving performance.

However, the pursuit of lower exhaust gas temperature will increase investment costs. Therefore, it's necessary to find a balance point.
