During the inspection, the management personnel of the boiler using unit and the monitor of the stoker shall be present to assist in the inspection and provide other materials required by the inspector.
When purchasing the gas-fired boiler, the enterprise will generally require to visit the boiler factory at the later period of boiler procurement. Via visiting the boiler factory, the enterprise can have a comprehensive understanding of the operation process, production scale, product quality details, corporate management level, factory shipment and other information of the boiler factory, and can further understand the service quality of the boiler manufacturer.
Ensure that the vent valve on the boiler is open and check there is no pressure in the boiler. Check that the steam stop valve is closed. Check that all the valves for fuel are open, and let the fuel circulate through the system until it comes to the temperature required by the manufacturer recommendation.
In theory, to have the most efficient combustion in any combustion process, the quantity of fuel and air would be in a perfect ratio to provide perfect combustion with no unused fuel or air. This type of theoretical perfect combustion is called stoichiometric combustion. In practice, however, for safety and maintenance needs, additional air beyond the theoretical "perfect ratio" needs to be added to the combustion process - this is referred to as "excess air".
