As an important heat energy supply equipment, industrial boiler is widely used in food, electronics, paper making, building materials, textiles and chemical industries. According to the medium, industrial boilers can be divided into steam boilers, hot water boilers and thermal oil heaters. In order to solve the problem "How many tons are the rated thermal power of 42 MW of industrial boiler?" First of all, we need to know the basic knowledge of rated thermal power and unit ton.
The key difference between vapor and steam is that vapor is a generally used term while steam is the technical and specific term. A shared attribute between vapor and steam is the point of origin or how it is formed. Steam and other kinds of vapor are often made by evaporation or with other means or application of heat.
The most obvious use of boilers in any building, including hospitals, is typically heating for the facility. A reliable steam boiler is one of the most economical ways to provide heat across a large space, especially one with multiple floors.
1) Set up the air preheater. One of the most effective measures to improve the thermal efficiency of thermal oil heater is to use an air preheater for heat recovery. 2) Use waste heat boiler for heat recovery. The waste heat boiler uses the waste heat in the flue gas exhausted from the thermal oil heater to heat water or generate steam.
Economizer is one of steam boiler’s equipment which is used to heat feedwater before it is supplied into steam drum. Economizer is the heat exchanger equipment to increase boiler efficiency by absorbing heat recovery of flue gases. The lower temperature of flue gas out from stack, the heat loss will be less and the fuel which is needed to convert water into steam will be also less in certain circumstances. So it can be said that economizer can save the fuel efficiently. Economizer will make temperature of feedwater higher, so steam boiler can produce steam easily.
Steam carries about 540 Kcal/kg of useful energy whereas hot water and thermal fluid carry much less energy. Steam does not require a pump to transfer the energy. Generally, if the heating temperatures required are <100°C, then hot water can be used and if temperatures >180°C are needed then thermal fluid might be a better choice. For process temperatures between 100°C and 180°C steam is considered a viable option.
Question details (Performance):1. The furnace wall at the coal economizer leaks water and steam with abnormal sound.2. The water level in the boiler drops sharply, and the water supply is obviously greater than the evaporation capacity.3. Smoke exhaust temperature and water outlet temperature rise.Answer: Fault reason:1. The water quality does not reach standard, and the oxygen in the water is decomposed into corroded pipe walls when the temperature rises.2. The low feed water temperature and smoke exhaust temperature make the inner and outer wall of the coal economizer pipe produce acid corrosion, or flying ash wear the pipe wall thin. 3. The pipe is blocked by impurities, causing overheating.4. Poor materials, defects in manufacturing, installation and maintenance. Troubleshooting:1. When economizer is slightly broke, it still maintains boiler operation, and the gap seems will not expand rapidly, in this case, load operation should be reduced, and start the spare boiler immediately,
