Does the boiler need annual inspection?

As a kind of special equipment, industrial boiler is special and complex. Complete inspection can ensure the safety operation of the boiler.

The external inspection of the boiler is generally conducted once a year, the internal inspection is generally conducted once every two years, and the hydrostatic test is generally conducted once every six years.

For boilers that cannot be inspected internally, a water pressure test should be conducted every three years. The internal inspection and hydrostatic test cycle of the boiler in the power plant can be appropriately adjusted according to the overhaul cycle of the power plant. Only when the internal inspection, external inspection and hydrostatic test are carried out within the qualified validity period can the boiler be put into operation.
