How to clean the steam boiler?

Removal of metallic scale and corrosion products generally requires chemical cleaning. Acid or chelant cleaning procedures vary greatly depending on individual circumstances. Chemical cleaning can improve the boiler heat rate and reduce the number of tube failures. It typically improves the stability of boiler chemistry.

1、Alkaline cleaning solutions are basically trisodium phosphate and surfactant. Trisodium phosphate concentrations typically range from 0.1 to 1%. Disodium phosphate and/or sodium hydroxide may be added. Sodium nitrate is often added when caustic is used, as a precaution against caustic embrittlement.

2、Acid cleaning: prepare a solution of pickling compound, keep it circulate in the system at 90℃-100℃, and quickly pass through each system component. After cleaning, drain the acid and flush with water.
