How to reduce the heat loss in the steam transmission process of industrial boiler?

31 Jul 2020

Some kinds of boilers have the problem of energy waste caused by heat loss in the process of steam transmission due to their special structures. To solve this problem, we should properly improve the steam transmission process.

First of all, we should pay more attention to the heat preservation and insulation capacities of boiler's steam transmission tubes. The lack of attention in this aspect causes the poor heat sealing effect of tubes and creates conditions for heat diffusion. Therefore, we should take a series of actions for heat preservation and insulation to reduce the heat loss caused by heat dissipation.

Secondly, we should follow the principle of high pressure for transmission and low pressure for use in the transmission as far as possible, which not only can reduce the costs of boiler's steam tubes, but also can reduce the heat loss, make most of the calorific potential contained in the steam, lower the temperature of condensate drainage and reduce steam consumption at the same time.

What's more, boiler's steam tube system should be equipped with enough and qualified trap valves. They can connect the condensate water and steam to reduce huge energy waste. On this basis, we should also check the steam tube system regularly to find problems and take actions timely.

Finally, we should also pay attention to the recovery and utilization of condensate water, which not only recycles the heat energy contained in the condensate water, but also saves a lot of costs for filter make-up water and softening process. It can be seen that condensate water has huge potentials in the steam system.

Noticing the three points mentioned above, we can effectively reduce the energy waste in the steam transmission process to make boiler better and more efficient in the practical application.
