What are factors affecting the coking of thermal oil heater?
1) The quality of thermal oil heater
The analysis of coking formation process shows that the oxidation stability and heat stability of thermal oil heater are closely related to the coking speed and quantity. Many fire and explosion accidents are caused by the poor oxidation stability and heat stability of thermal oil heater, which can result in serious coking problem.
2) The design and installation of heating system
The various parameters provided by heating system design and the installation of equipment directly affect the coking conditions of thermal oil heater, so the installation, adjustment and testing of equipment should be reasonable to extend the service life of thermal oil heater.
3) The daily operation and maintenance of heating system

With temperature rises, the speed of two reactions rises and the coking tendency increases. According to the relevant theory of chemical engineering principles, with the Reynolds number increases, the coking speed decreases. The Reynolds number is directly proportional to the flow rate of thermal oil heater. As a result, the higher the flow rate of thermal oil heater, the lower the speed of coking.
