How to select the steam boiler used for the packaging plant?
The steam boiler in the packaging plant is mainly used in the heating process before the raw paper is made into cardboard. In brief, it is using steam which contains no water in the drying process to improve the production efficiency and product quality of packaging cartons. As a result, it has high requirements for the steam and steam boiler, such as temperature, water content, rated evaporation capacity per unit time, etc., which are important parameters in the boiler selection.
Factors for the selection of the steam boiler
1) Rated evaporation capacity. The most important parameter of the steam boiler is the rated evaporation capacity which refers to the amount of steam that the steam boiler can generate per hour. Enterprises in the paper-making and drying industry can select the steam boilers according to their production scales.
2) Boiler thermal efficiency. Steam boilers are mainly gas-fired now. Gas-fired boilers are eco-friendly with high thermal efficiency of over 98% and the thermal efficiency of condensing boilers can reach 99%. The boiler thermal efficiency directly reflects the boiler performance. The higher the boiler thermal efficiency, the lower the boiler operating costs.
3) Automatic control system. Gas-fired boilers are now basically equipped with PLC control systems. Microcomputer control can be started and stopped with one button. It can realize the scientific control of the daily fuel burning amount of the boiler, which is much better than manual feeding or manual control.
4) Boiler after-sales service. The boiler, as a large-scale thermal special equipment, will have inevitable operating failures that are caused by the problems of boiler accessories or manual operation. The boiler maintenance needs the mature technology of boiler manufacturers.
