What are the reasons for the low efficiency of dust collector of the biomass-fired boiler?
1) Nature of dust. The efficiency of a common bag dust collector is directly related to the size, weight, shape, electrostatic effect and concentration of dust particles. The dust particles which are larger, heavier and with irregular shapes and obvious electrostatic effect can be removed by the dust collector with a higher efficiency and vice versa.
2) Quality of bag. The filter cloth performance of bag dust collector has a great influence on the dust removal efficiency and resistance. It is recommended to choose the bag dust collector which can prevent the passage of tiny dust. The holes produced by fabric warp and weft threads should be small and the warp and weft threads themselves should be thin. Meanwhile, the fabric should have long fluff and is full of elasticity, so it can cover the holes and has a certain strength.
3) Velocity of filtering. The velocity of filtering also affects the dust removal effect. The lower the velocity of filtering, the easier the formation of the one-time dust layer with a small particle diameter and a large porosity, and the more the collection of tiny dust particles.
Note: The dust collector of boiler should be cleaned once a week to clean the bag filters orderly.
