Causes of purging before ignition of gas-fired boiler

Exhaust the pulverized coal and combustible gas that may accumulate in the furnace, flue and air preheater (or clean the pulverized coal accumulated in the primary air duct) to prevent deflagration during ignition.

When the boiler is ignited, there may be combustible materials accumulated in the furnace or flue during the last shutdown. Although all regulations require purging the air duct furnace for 3~5 minutes after the boiler is turned off, for safety reasons, purging is also required before ignition. In the event of an accident, when the boiler suddenly puts out the fire, especially when the auxiliary power is interrupted and the primary fan trips, a large number of combustible materials will definitely accumulate in the primary air duct, furnace, flue and preheater, so it must be purged for re-ignition, otherwise it will possibly explode.
