What are the classification and use of biomass-fired boilers?

The biomass-fired boiler is a kind of equipment that uses the combustion of renewable energy biomass to provide heat energy for the boiler. The biomass-fired boilers are widely used especially by the enterprises located in the areas with abundant biomass fuel.

The classification of biomass-fired boilers

1) According to the medium, biomass-fired boilers can be divided into biomass-fired steam boilers, biomass-fired hot water boilers and biomass-fired thermal oil heaters.

2) According to the structure, biomass-fired boilers can be divided into horizontal biomass-fired boilers and vertical biomass-fired boilers.

3) According to the application, biomass-fired boilers can be divided into biomass-fired thermal energy boilers and biomass-fired electric boilers. Their working principles are the same. The difference is that the form acquires the thermal energy directly while the latter transforms thermal energy into electricity.

The use of biomass-fired boilers

1) Industrial production. The biomass-fired boilers can be used in the food processing, clothing, chemical and other industries, as well as thermal power generation. Compared with the coal-fired boilers with high pollution and emission, the biomass boilers have abundant fuel resources and low fuel price.

2) Heating for daily life. The biomass-fired boilers can be used in daily life such as hot water supply, bathing and heating with low costs.
