What are the components of the fuel supply system of a gas boiler?

The fuels of ZOZEN WNS gas/ oil fired boiler are mainly oil and gas. Oil and gas fuel are supplied to burner by piping conveying.

Oil fuel supply system mainly includes: oil storage tank, daily-used oil tank, oil filling pump and oil filling pipelines.

Oil storage tank: This is used to store oil for boiler combustion. Small capacity oil storage tank usually adopts buried layout and buried tank should be reliably fixed and be guaranteed not be floated by surface water. Oil tank that volume is more than 50m³ often adopts ground tank section layout.

Heavy oil storage tank should be installed heating device. The capacity of oil storage tank is usually determined according to the amount of oil used by boiler for a week. Oil storage tank should be equipped with security facilities like fire resistance ventilation cap, anti-static, lightning protection and so on according to the fire regulations.

Daily-used oil tank: This is used for oil storage in boiler room to prevent continuous oil and gas diffusion due to too much oil supplied and daily-used oil tank capacity shall be controlled less than 1m³. Daily-used oil tank shall be equipped with devices of liquid level displaying, liquid level control, fire resistance ventilation cap, etc. and be anti-static grounding.

Manufacture and acceptance of oil storage tank and daily-used oil tank should conform to Steel Welding Atmospheric Vessel NB/T47003-1-2009.

Oil filling pump: This is used for transporting oil from oil storage tank to daily-used oil tank or providing certain pressure oil for burner. Common boiler oil transporting pumps are gear pump and screw pump and more used pump is the gear oil pump.

Gas supply system equipment: Main system equipments that uses gas from city gas supply pipeline network is valve group of gas pressure reduction and calculation, control valve group of burner and gas transmission pipeline. Main system equipments that use low pressure gas are gas pressurization equipment (such as roots blower and air pump), gasifier, valve group and gas transmission pipeline. Gas supply system shall be designed, installed and inspected by professional units.
