What are the differences between gas-fired boiler and oil-fired boiler?
With the continuous development of boiler manufacturing process and technology, fuel types of boiler have also increased, such as various combustible gases, fuel oil, biomass, coal and so on.
The differences between gas-fired boiler and oil-fired boiler:
1) Combustion method. Gas-fired boiler: a mixture of fuel gas and air burns in a suspended state in the furnace; oil-fired boiler: a strong mixture of fuel oil atomized by oil burner and air burns in a suspended state in the furnace. The same point is the required mix with air. Some oil-fired boilers burn heavy oil, which has a high viscosity and must be preheated before it can be piped and used.
2) Burner. Gas-fired boiler uses gas burner while oil-fired boiler uses oil burner.
3) Operating costs. The costs of oil-fired boiler is higher than that of gas-fired boiler due to the costs of various kinds of fuel oil.

Bangladesh is one of the world’s major producers and exporters of garments and textiles. With a well-developed industrial chain covering textile, dyeing, printing, and garment manufacturing, long-term demand for industrial steam remains strong. In production processes such as dyeing, washing, drying, and finishing, steam boilers play an important role in ensuring stable heat supply. As local textile enterprises place greater emphasis on energy consumption control, fuel utilization, and ope...21 Apr 2026 -
In Pakistan, garment manufacturing and fabric processing remain important parts of industrial production. For these factories, steam is not an auxiliary utility but a core part of the production chain. Processes such as dyeing, drying, heat setting, and finishing all require a stable and continuous steam supply. Any fluctuation in steam output may affect production rhythm. Against this background, more textile companies in Pakistan are paying closer attention to fuel adaptability, operating sta...14 Apr 2026
