d type water tube boiler

Introduction: The d type water tube boiler refers to the gas-fired boilers adopting the D-shape structure. ZOZEN SZS series boiler is a d type water tube boiler. The d type water tube boiler is the most common type of small to medium sized boilers. ZOZEN Boiler SZS series d type water tube boiler is designed with longitudinal double drums. What is a d type water tube boiler?

What is a d type water tube boiler?

The operation mode of the boiler is just the opposite to that of the fire-tube boiler. Water circulates in the boiler tube, and the tube is surrounded by high-temperature flue gas, which heats who is in the water tube to produce steam or hot water.

The principle of d type water tube boiler

The structure of d type water tube boiler is double-drum, vertical and D-shaped, with the furnace on the right and convection tube bundle on the left. The movable supports in the middle and both ends of the lower drum are fixed on the chassis of the main body, and the whole boiler is guaranteed to expand to both ends. The furnace is surrounded by membrane wall, and the membrane wall on the left side of the furnace completely seals off the furnace from the convection tube bundle. The rear part of the convection tube bundle area has a staggered structure of stretching and the front part has an in-line structure.

Operation principle of d type water tube boiler: the fuel is ignited by the burner and fully burned in the furnace. The flue gas generated by combustion enters the burning chamber and convection tube bundle area from the smoke outlet at the rear of the furnace, then turns from the front of the left side of the boiler to enter the spiral finned tube economizer and condenser, and finally enters the flue, enters the chimney and is discharged to the atmosphere.

Performance difference between fire tube boiler and d type water tube boiler

1. Different properties: d type water tube boiler is an industrial boiler with combustion chamber and heating surface outside the drum, which causes water and steam to flow in the tube. Tube boiler means that the flue gas generated after fuel combustion flows through the tube or flue, and heats the water, steam or steam-water mixture outside the tube or flue.

2. Different characteristics: Due to the limitation of its structural conditions, the efficiency of fire-tube boiler is low, and it is generally used for users with small capacity. Because the cross-section of the boiler inside the tube is smaller than that outside the tube, the steam-water flow rate is greatly increased, and the steam generated on the heating surface is immediately washed away, which improves the heat absorption rate of the boiler water.

3. Different structure: The overall structure of d type water tube boiler includes two parts: boiler body and auxiliary equipment. The basic structure of a tube boiler is to install a small cylinder, tube or other shell in a large cylinder (shell).
