Because the metal consumption of drum boiler is 10%-15% more than that of once-through boiler, and the water volume is relatively large, the heat storage capacity of drum boiler is relatively high, and the steam space of drum can store a certain amount of steam. When the fuel quantity is constant and the load changes, the boiler steam pressure changes slowly.
