What are the characteristics of the dual-fuel (oil and gas) boilers?

The dual-fuel boilers usually burn oil and gas fuel which can be natural gas fuel or artificial gas fuel such as natural gas or diesel. The field-assembled dual-fuel boilers also burn the heavy oil or light oil. This type of boiler can make enterprises select the fuel more flexibly and minimize the boiler operating and production costs for enterprises.

The characteristics of dual-fuel steam boilers

1) Structure. The dual-fuel boiler realizes the mechatronics and is composed of the boiler proper, burner, electric control cabinet, pipelines, valves, instruments, feed water pump, etc. It adopts the mature structure of horizontal internal combustion three-pass wet back, which makes the flue gas stay longer in the boiler.

2) Technology. It adopts the large-diameter corrugated furnace to increase the radiation heating surface in the furnace, ensure the sufficient combustion of the fuel and reduce the generation of harmful gases.

3) Efficiency. The boiler thermal efficiency can reach 98% and above, and the condensing boiler thermal efficiency can reach 99%.

4) Application. The steam boilers occupy a larger proportion in actual use and are applied for production and heating (heat exchanger). The steam boilers have complete functions and a high level of automation to realize the unattended operation. There are also multiple interlock protection measures to enhance the boiler safety.
