What aspects are included in the system commissioning before the operation of oil-fired boiler?
Before the operation of oil-fired boiler, we should effectively adjust the heating system to make it conform to the actual working conditions. Moreover, what are the specific operating steps when adjusting the oil-fired boiler?
The first step is to add water to the oil-fired boiler. First open the water feeding valve, wait boiler's water level rising to the normal level, and close the water feeding valve.
It is not only the oil-fired boiler itself that need to be added water, but also the system. Open the system water feeding valve to add water, then observe the automatic exhausting conditions until the exhausting valve does not work, and finally close the water feeding valve. If the pressure of tap water does not meet the standards, a pump can be used to add water.
After the oil-fired boiler and system complete the water feeding, the low temperature operation of water pump can be set via the control box. However, before starting the pump, open all the valves except the water feeding valve. Meanwhile, open the open/close device, hydraulic tube and exhausting valve to exhaust the air and observe boiler's water level at the same time.
If the water level rises significantly, the resistance control valve should be turned down properly until the water level stops rising; if the water level drops, it indicates that the system is not be added enough water, so keep adding water to the oil-fired boiler until the water level stops dropping. After the water level of oil-fired boiler is adjusted to the normal, shut off the water pump and check whether the parts like open/close device and back-pressure valve are normal.
The checking method is also very simple to observe whether the water level of oil-fired boiler is rising. If the water level rises, it indicates the valves are not fully closed. There will be the sound of water flow when putting the ear closely on the open/close device and back-pressure valve. If there is something wrong with the open/close device, check the valve. If there is something blocked, remove it as soon as possible.
