What is the classification of burner for gas-fired or oil-fired boiler from the perspective of atomization mode?

From the perspective of atomization mode, there are three kinds of burner used by boiler that are rotating cup atomization burner, pressure atomization burner and medium atomization burner.

The rotating cup atomization burner atomizes the fuel via a high-speed rotating cup plate to realize the normal combustion of oil with poor quality. However, this kind of equipment is expensive and has high requirements for adjustment. What's more, the rotating cup is easy to wear, so the actual use of rotating cup atomization burner is not very much.

The pressure atomization burner uses high-pressure bump to convey the fuel to the oil mouth, realizes atomization and burns with oxygen. This kind of burner is featured with balanced atomization, simple working principle, low costs and few consumption, which is used widely.

The medium atomization burner mixes the medium such as compressed air or steam with pressure with fuel to realize combustion. Although the medium atomization burner does not have high requirements for fuel, there are more consumption and costs, which restricts the application of it.
