What is the maximum pressure of a thermal oil heater?

18 Nov 2022

The circulating pressure of a thermal oil boiler is generated by the driving of the circulating oil pump to the thermal oil circulation. Generally, the working pressure of the thermal oil pump is  4 ~ 8kg / cm2. Actually, the pressure of the thermal oil pump differs from different working conditions.

What are the factors that affect the maximum pressure of thermal oil heater?

1. Pressure of circulating hot oil pump

The pressure of liquid phase thermal oil heater and heating system is determined by the pressure of circulating pump, so the heating mode of thermal oil heater system is forced circulation of liquid phase, and circulating pump plays a "heart" role in the circulation of thermal oil in the whole heating system. If the circulation pump stops running, the circulation of thermal oil will be interrupted.

2. Diameter of oil inlet and outlet

If the inlet and outlet diameter of the oil pump is larger, the pressure of the heat transfer oil will be larger and the oil speed of the thermal oil will be faster, thus ensuring that the thermal oil heater can have a good temperature control effect.

The high working pressure of heat conduction oil furnace indicates that the flow rate of thermal oil in the system is fast. The thermal oil heater should have a large flow rate and a fast flow rate, so that the better the temperature control effect. In the design of heat conduction oil furnace, it is necessary to consider the high-temperature resistance of flanges, valves, pipes, circulating pumps and other components to prevent heat transfer oil from leaking at high temperature.

For many manufacturers with mature production experience in China, expanding capacity overseas or building a new factory abroad often starts with one key question: can the local infrastructure and energy supply support long-term operation? This is especially important in Africa. In many countries, raw materials such as timber are readily available, while conventional fuels like natural gas and diesel are often more expensive and less stable in supply. For plywood plants, this creates a practica...
