The temperature demand will change the selection of boiler medium

According to the different heat process, there's a big difference between the heating demands, it also directly affects the choice of boiler medium. In addition to the hot water boiler which is mainly used for heating and hot water supply, the common boiler medium in the industrial field includes saturated steam, superheated steam, heat transfer oil and molten salt.

The temperature range of saturated steam boiler and superheated steam boiler is big. The boiler application is more widely in chemical, food, printing and dyeing and other industries. However, the requirements on the design, process and safety of both boiler mediums will be higher with the rising of the heating temperature. When the heat utilization process is indirect heating, the thermal oil heater and the molten salt furnace which can realize low-pressure high-temperature heat supply are good supplements of the steam boiler, and the heat supply ranges are up to 320 ℃ and 450 ℃ respectively.

The process heat temperature requirement of a user in chemical industry is 250℃, and the user plans to adopt a superheated steam boiler with a heat supply capacity of 1.2 million kcal. After receiving the demand, ZOZEN engineer didn't rush to quote, but learned about its process principle, and found that it was more economical and safer to use thermal oil heater for heating.

The total capacity is a particularly important factor in boiler procurement. Generally, the user's heat load curve and heat balance system diagram should be obtained, and the design heat load should be determined after considering various heat losses, self-use heat of boiler room and available waste heat.
