Yili Group, the largest dairy company in China, invested in a Green Production and Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration and Application Project in Wuwei, Gansu Province. The total investment of the project is about 2.1 billion yuan (about 327 million dollars). Ten production lines have been built in the first phase. After completion, the production base will have a liquid milk production capacity of 603 tons/day (with an annual output of 180,900 tons), with an annual output value exceeding 1 billion yuan (156 million dollars).
